All Roads are passable.
Power lines remain on some roads/right-of-ways.
Debris collection and disposal continues and is expected to continue through next week.

DeSoto Parish Declaration Submitted 8/25
Gas stations along the I-49 path in DeSoto Parish are reporting they will be out of fuel within the next 24 hours.
Natchitoches Parish 911 went down and we are relaying their calls for service.
Power is still out in much of the parish with no timeline on repairs.
The Sheriff’s Office will be taking tarps to residents with trees or limbs on their homes.
Still having some phone issues in the area but we are working through it.
Power companies notified and crews working to clear trees off lines.

Mobile Homes: 3 with minor damage
Parish has fuel on hand for day to day operations until fuel is resupplied.
All SAR missions are complete

All Parishes for Public Assistance Category B (emergency protective measures), including direct Federal Assistance
HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT PROGRAM
All areas in the State of Louisiana are eligible to apply for assistance under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
SOLID WASTE
Daily tons of waste for landfill and compactor sites remain comparable to that of Pre-Hurricane Laura levels.
Sites that remain closed due to power outages are:
Clear Lake
Pelican
Oxford
Evelyn
Benson
Lula
Fuel consumption remains constant at 500 gallons per 1-1/2 days. Operating hours remain extended. Landfill, with assistance from road department, provided a trailer mounted 250 gallon fuel tank to DPSO for assistance to south Louisiana.
Airport
CLECO helicopter was provided fuel for disaster relief assistance.
BUILDINGS, PROPERTIES, AND PARKS
Police Jury Annex minor exterior damage
4H roll-up door blown off track.
Airport avgas fuel pump is down and pergola roof is damaged.
DeSoto Parish Sports Complex one batting cage has been damaged
Other facilities are either okay or being checked.
