Mrs. Jerri Burrell has been a resident of Mansfield for 38 years. She is a lifelong resident of DeSoto Parish. Mrs. Burrell has been married to her husband, Jerry, for 38 years. Their 3 children are Nicholas, Titus, and Keyanna. She is a lifetime member of Mount Olive Baptist Church of Mansfield. Mrs. Burrell is a passionate community activist with a special interest in the youth of DeSoto Parish. She also assists with job placement for the unemployed, hosting community service events for the elderly, and encouraging individuals to attend church while she works with them. She is the current elected Vice President for the Board of the Voter’s League. She is self employed by her company, Sweet Bunny Brown, where she does wedding and event coordinating. Her favorite hobby is trail riding and hosting trail rides, including the Independent Riders Annual Campout.

Robby has lived in DeSoto Parish his entire life. After graduating from Mansfield High, he studied engineering at LA Tech, graduating in 2008. Later, he earned an MBA from LSUS in 2015. Married to Beth, they have 4 children, Hallie, Joel, Lex, & Lilibet. He owns a State Farm agency in Shreveport representing several DeSoto Parish residents and supports many of the Schools in the Parish. Robby & his family are members of Fellowship Community Church in Gloster. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, & the outdoors.

Richard Fuller

Richard Fuller has been a resident of Forest Community for five years. Mr. Fuller has been married to Debbie for over twenty years; they have two children, Princess and Cheryl. Mr. Fuller is self-employed with Uncle Richards House, a public ministry service for over forty different nursing homes and over seven prisons. He is also a deacon for the Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Ernel Jones is a lifelong resident of Mansfield. Mr. Jones is married to Gwen and has two children. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, has done a lot of community work and is a Community Leader. He also worked on the committee to get the Mansfield High School.

Trina Boyd-Simpson

Trina Boyd-Simpson raised in DeSoto Parish, is the eldest daughter of Deacon Bobby Boyd and Marie Ford Boyd. She is a wife of Floyd and the mother of Tiara. After graduating from Mansfield High School in 1986, She attended Grambling State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Elementary Education. In 2007 she obtained her Master of Art (M.A.) in Reading and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration in 2011. She worked in Dallas ISD for 24 years. Mrs. Boyd-Simpson moved back home where she gained employment with DeSoto Parish School. She worked at Logansport High School as a Literacy Interventionist and is currently a Content Master Lead for Caddo Parish Schools. She is an active member of Delta Sigma Sorority Incorporated and attends the New Arklite Baptist Church. In her spare time, she likes to read, work crossword puzzles, and play with my fur babies Bella and Sage.

Bubba Clark

Bubba Clark is a resident of Logansport for over 30 years. He is married to his amazing wife, Alyssa for almost 9 years now. They have 3 beautiful little girls, Ellie, Mattie and Libby. Bubba Clark and his family are members of Fellowship Community Church in Gloster. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, playing golf and spending time outdoors with his family. Bubba Clark is a 2009 Graduate of Logansport High School. After continuing his education further, he obtained an associate’s degree from BPCC in Oil and Gas Production Technology. From there he spent 10 years in the Oil Field working on an offshore drilling rig. Since family is important to him, he made a career change to the Insurance industry, working for State Farm and that has allowed him to have more time with family and become more active in the community!

Rodriguez Ross is a lifelong resident of Mansfield. Mr. Ross has been married to Sylette Ford-Ross for 10 years. Their 4 children are Jasmine, Kaira, Rylan, & Raden. Mr. Ross is currently self-employed owning and operating his cemetery maintenance and supply company, Ross Services, LLC. He attends Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Oxford. Mr. Ross was the past worship master for the Pride of Anderson #137 Masonic Lodge. His hobbies include trail-riding and raising horses, breeding and raising Blue & Red Heelers, anything outdoors or involving family & friends.
